The key to keeping vehicles running well is to change your oil and check out key aspects of the vehicle on a regular basis. (Every oil change) Wayne’s Garage is equipped with the latest technology and follows all factory specifications when maintaining a vehicle. At Wayne’s our technicians are trained to check out all aspects of the vehicle to avoid things from going wrong with the car down the road. This will save the owner of the vehicle money and hassle.
Oil Change
With regular car oil changes, your vital engine parts stay well-coated and protected against excess heat and friction. When you skip oil changes, the oil begins to thicken, break down and is consequently less effective, resulting in damage and engine wear. If you don't change your oil regularly, you could end up needing costly engine repairs or even an engine replacement. Don't risk it! Follow your vehicle's manufacturer's recommendations to avoid costly repairs down the road.
Transmission Service
Getting a transmission fluid change and transmission flush is important maintenance for your vehicle's health, that's why vehicle manufactures recommend regularly scheduled transmission service. If you keep up with your transmission maintenance, your car can run newer, stronger, longer.
We also offer truck transmission services which is needed for trucks that tow under heavy conditions.  Wayne's Garage experts technicians can take care of all of your vehicle transmission needs and keep your vehicle functioning at peak performance
As with all preventive maintenance performed on an automobile, tune-ups can prevent major problems from occurring on a vehicle. The filters replaced can clog with use and prevent flow, starving the engine of fuel or air. Spark plugs have a recommended service lifetime of 60,000 to 100,000 miles and old spark plugs may cause engine misfire.
A standard tune-up at Wayne's Garage includes:
1.Replace the fuel filter.
2.Change the spark plugs, plug wires. If your vehicle has ignition coils we recommend replacing the coil boots and replacing the ignition coils as needed.
3.Check the belts. Replace if worn.
4.Check the fluids under the hood and replenish as necessary. Change the oil and oil filter if it's been 3,000-5,000 miles since the last oil change. (depending on oil type)
5.Replace the air filter, which should be changed between major services every 15,000 miles as well.
6.Service the battery, cleaning terminals and cable ends.
A/C Service
At Wayne's Garage all AC repair and A/C services are handled by ASE-certified technicians. Your car is in good hands with these expert auto technicians, and they will examine your car's A/C system to see if there is a leak. If there is a leak the will stop it in its tracks before it can effect anything else. When temperatures rise, there's nothing more refreshing than climbing into a cool, air-conditioned car. Over time, however A/C fittings become loose, O-rings, hoses and seals wear out, and your refreshingly icy blast stops.
Do I have to use the dealer for repairs and maintenance to keep my warranty in effect?
No - An independent mechanic can do routine maintenance and repairs on your new vehicle. In fact, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which is enforced by the FTC, makes it illegal for manufactures or dealers to claim that your warranty is void or to deny coverage under your warranty simply because someone other than the dealer did the work.
